Designed specifically for internal hot water systems, the Mildred Valve features a smart sensor that detects water pooling and instantly shuts off the water supply while sounding an audible alert to notify the homeowner.
Proudly designed, engineered, and manufactured in Australia, the Buildtuff® Mildred Valve meets the standards of AS/NZS3500.4:2003 and ATS5200.476 and is Watermark approved.
Created with Evolve's plumber-first philosophy, the versatile Mildred Valve can be installed at any angle and height up to 600mm from the safetray floor, thanks to its robust contact-based sensor trip mechanism.
The Mildred Valve operates on long-lasting batteries, eliminating the need for mains power connections. Its visual and audible alarms alert users to multiple trip modes, allowing plumbing professionals to easily reset the unit with a single button.
The Buildtuff® Mildred Valve comes with 1/2” male ends, complete with copper olives and nuts for easy installation. Plumbers can install the valve straight from the box using the supplied fittings, or modify it for their preferred installation method, such as flare, plastic, or crox, by fitting the desired adapter.
