The Robertshaw Surface Mount Hot Water Thermostats are installed as Original Equipment in Commercial, Domestic Hot Water Storage Tanks and heat pumps for Australia & New Zealand, the WM & EWT range has been discontinued and superseded.
The TSSTP is designed with fewer metal parts than the WM & EWT Series, employs the latest temperature control technology designed to give quicker response to temperature change. This promises more accurate Hot Water System operation and resultant energy savings
What does the auto reset do?
In simple terms the solar auto reset enables your solar hot water system either flat plate or evacuated tubes to generate as much solar heated water as possible. It does this by "cutting out" the electric element booster so the sun can generate the hot water, when the sun goes down and you use the stored hot water the Robertshaw automatically resets and allows the boosted to function as a normal electric element.
The new ST23-60K (ST-2307233) Dual element uses the latest generation temperature control, delivering quick response as the temperature of the water stratifies in the solar hot water tank. Robertshaw's quick response saves energy maximising your investment in your solar hot water system.
Electrical safety the ST23-60K (ST-2307233) Dual element has an internal fuse protection circuit, which has been designed with solar water heaters in mind. This internal fuse is extra protection against any electrical malfunction, but it is only a one use fuse. If the fuse activates, the thermostat will need to be replaced.
