Hot Water Systems Gas, Solar, Elec Tempering Valve Tech Tip!
Is your tap running Hot & Cold?
A common cause of water temperature fluctuation in the house or at a fixture is a blocked or partially blocked tempering valve.
The tempering valve will have filter baskets at both the hot and cold inlet side of the valve which should be checked.
By isolating the incoming water on both sides of the valve and simply removing the obstruction or particulates maybe enough to restore correct operation.
