The Grundfos UP 15-14B PM (80) COMFORT circulator pump is the successor to the UP 15-14B (80). The "PM" and the "BA" are a brass secondary hot water service circulator, designed for
- domestic hot-water systems in single and two family houses
- small heating systems
- cooling and air-conditioning systems
The Grundfos COMFORT PM range sets new standards for energy-efficient hot water recirculation in domestic homes. Thanks to a low noise permanent magnet motor, energy consumption is reduced to as little as 5 to 8 Watts, while the superior AUTOADAPT function found on the BA PM model, ensures that the pump runs only when required, which minimises both heat and power waste. The result is maximum comfort with a minimum of water, heat and electricity consumption.
The pump is suitable for open and closed systems however, it must be installed indoors and should only be fitted into pressurised hot water circulation systems.

Solar Circulator
This pump was a replacement for my original UP15-14B which had operated for the last Ten years supplying piping hot water to our house. The new pump is exactly the same as the old except for the power consumption, Seven watts instead of Twenty Five with the old version. Still whisper quiet and Grundfos you can't go wrong. Plumb on line's service was excellent and the best price too.

Good but ....
Used to replace unit in rinnai sumaster se316. It's an upgraded model from the original with green light to indicate voltage applied. The electrical connection is different and I had to modification and position of enclosure controller to fit it. Perhaps It was possible to modify orientation of pumps electrical entry for a better fit, but the install etc booklet included only pictures. A few words would have helped. Just a quick note from plumbonline; the head can be rotated as shown in the Grundfos manual, we are always online or on the phone for tech questions big or small 1300 428 999 ;-)
