Overview
Vertical, multistage centrifugal pump with suction and discharge ports on same the level (in-line) enabling installation in a horizontal one-pipe system. The pump head and base are in cast iron – all other wetted parts are in stainless steel. A cartridge shaft seal ensures high reliability, safe handling and easy service and access. Power transmission is via a split coupling. Pipework connection is via oval flanges with internal Rp threads.

Vertical, non-self-priming, multistage, in-line, centrifugal pump for installation in pipe systems and mounting on a foundation.
The pump has the following characteristics:
- Impellers and intermediate chambers are made of Stainless steel DIN W.-Nr. DIN W.-Nr. 1.4301.
- Pump head and base are made of Cast iron.
- The shaft seal has assembly length according to DIN 24960.
- Power transmission is via cast iron split coupling.
- Pipework connection is via DIN flanges.
The pump is fitted with an IEC-flanged 3-phase MGE motor with frequency converter and PI-controller integrated in the motor terminal box. No additional motor protection is required as both motor and electronics are protected by integrated overload and temperature protection.
The pump is equipped with a pressure transmitter registering pump discharge pressure and enabling controlled pump operation based on constant pressure.
A control panel enables setting of required set point andsetting of pump to MIN or MAX operation or to STOP. The control panel has indicator lights for "Operation" and "Fault".
Communication with the pump is possible by means of Grundfos R100 Remote Control enabling further settings and read out of a number of parameters such as "Actual value", "Speed", "Power input" and total "Power consumption".
The terminal box holds terminals for the connection of:
- Pump start/stop (potential-free contact),
- External remote set point setting via analog signal, 0 - 5 V, 0 - 10 V, 0(4) - 20 mA,
- 5 V voltage supply for set point potentiometer, Imax = 5 mA,
- Pressure sensor factory-fitted.
- Input for forced control to MIN or MAX (potential-free contact),
- Potential-free fault signal relay with changeover contact,
- RS485 GENIbus.
