The G2D Domestic Solar Ready Tank is derived from G2 TECH’s Commercial stainless-steel range of Duplex hot water vessels, which utilises only high-end commercial components for premium performance and system longevity.

The solar ready tank allows you install a new tank today, upgrade to solar when you’re ready! The

G2D’s come complete with a bottom Incoloy heating element, the thermostat control can be set for bottom or mid element performance.

Available as 250|315|400 Litre ready to install with G2 TECH’s R-Type evacuated tube collectors or your existing collector where the tank has failed.

The G2D solar ready hot water tanks come conveniently with dual handed connections allowing easy swap over or new installation. The hot Water tanks are "handed" meaning they have two sets of connections ensuring easy changeover from your existing hot water tank, the extra connections that are not used come complete with brass plugs and plastic blanking caps to minimise heat loss.

G2 TECH's high-quality DUPLEX stainless steel electric boosted solar hot water storage tanks come in three capacities, 250|315|400Lt. The G2D "Domestic" is built to the same standards as G2 TECH's Commercial hot water range of tanks, and come with a comprehensive twenty-year warranty. The G2D's have been designed especially for solar water heating storage, complete with electric hot water heating element that can be set as electric only allowing you to add solar collectors at a later date.

The G2 TECH's range of duplex stainless steel tanks is the preferred option for solar water heaters due to class-leading insulation 65mm on the 250 & 315Lt and 75mm for the 400LT. Each tank has top and bottom solar sensor wells for accurate tank temperature readings.

G2 TECH utilises only high-end commercial components for premium performance and system longevity. Founded on a long history in the commercial hot water market our selected material for the inner vessel of our G2D Range is Duplex stainless steel. The core of the tank is constructed from 2205 Code Plus Two® “Duplex”. Stainless steel is the ideal material choice for solar hot water storage tanks the water temperature produced by evacuated tube solar collectors in summer can get very hot and the Stainless Steel is well suited to the higher temperatures up to 95 Deg C. Naturally G2 TECH continues their quality journey using brushed 304 stainless steel outer casing.

All our storage tanks comply with the Australian Standards (ISO 9001 & ISO14001) and are certified suitable for potable “drinking water” with the Watermark certificate.
