MULTICOUPLER-9 Plug & Play connector Loom for Low Voltage Sensor Taps
Autoflo’s Multicoupler-9 Units are specifically designed to simplify the installation of groups of low voltage Sensor-Taps, by powering all taps from a single power source, mains or battery. The “Plug and Play” design of the modules, results in simpler electrical installation at public facilities, factories, airports, hospitals, etc. In groups of Battery operated Taps, the Multicouplers eliminate the need for individual tap batteries and the associated on-going costs of replacement through maintenance programs.
Primarily the Tap group will run on Mains power and only switch to battery power during a mains power outage. Normal tap operation is maintained on the whole group until mains power is restored. The changeover from Mains-to-Battery happens automatically and seamlessly without any change in tap operation.
Connecting a single Multicoupler 9 Master Module to a single low voltage mains operated tap creates a battery back-up feature, desirable in critical locations.
